John Thomson Lenaghen (1912-1976)

Died ----- Edinburgh Royal on the 6th December 1976 --- Aged 64
He was a railway worker who did numerous jobs during his 44yr service, from shunter to guard to billposter to ticket collector. He had an accident whilst employed as a billposter in 1961 and through this, lost a leg below the knee. He finally was employed for 7yrs with the SH&HD at Broomhouse as a messenger
