Died 12th March 1934 aged 65. Buried at Rosebank Cemetery Pilrig Street Edinburgh in a shared grave with his father in law John Thomson & Margaret Adamson Thomson. Lair YW 73 behind the big tree opposite the Broughton Road gates.

Charles was in the forces and served 12yr with the A & S H and was demobbed on the 7^th Aug 1899 at Stirling. Having signed on at the age of 18 yr. and 2 month on the 8^th Aug 1887.
Charles had numerous jobs on demob, one, I believe was a policeman in Edinburgh he was also a tram conductor and the Lenaghens also owned a pub at the corner of the West Port and Grassmarket Edin
